Life in Jonesboro
Jonesboro is home to Arkansas State University and its Red Wolves, so expect game-day crowds in the fall. The city sits on Crowley's Ridge, an unusual strip of high ground that rises out of the flat Delta. The Crowley's Ridge Parkway, a National Scenic Byway, makes for a pretty drive. Memphis is a little over an hour away via I-555 and I-55, which puts Jonesboro in easy reach of the Mid-South's biggest freight hub.
