Around Denver
Headed west on I-70? Know before you go. The climb to the Eisenhower Tunnel tops 11,000 feet, and Colorado enforces chain laws for commercial trucks in winter. If you're in town a while, Red Rocks Amphitheatre is unforgettable, and Coors Field puts you right downtown in LoDo. For something different, Casa Bonita in Lakewood, the famous cliff-diving Mexican restaurant, reopened in 2023 under new owners and is a true Colorado original.
