May 2014 Scholarship Winner - Erik Hopperstad

Congratulations to Erik Hopperstad!

Erik is the 2014 Spring winner of $1000 Trucker to Trucker Scholarship Award.

He is currently attending the Professional Truck Driver Training Program at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, NE and is set to complete his training in just a few weeks. The intensive 10.5 week truck driving course consists of 100 hours of classroom time and over 2,000 driving miles, and results in job-ready drivers for articulated vans and flatbed tractor trailers.

Erik has already lined up a job with Crete Carrier, and can't wait to get out on the road. "I know I don't look much like a trucker, but thanks to the fine folks at Southeast Community College, I sure feel like one!"
