More Information on Van Trucks

Each listing includes at least one full-color photo of the truck's exterior. The listings include a wealth of information, including transmission type, weight rating, wheelbase, make, price, location, amenities and more. You can also click on the links at the bottom of the photos for more information about insurance, shipping, financing and more. There is an option to email the slideshow of pictures to yourself or someone else.

Van trucks have come a long way since trucks were first used to haul goods in the early 1900s. The newest models are mostly temperature controlled and have doors between the cab and the cargo area for easy access without going outside. They are available in short, medium and long lengths. Some van trucks can be opened from the side as well as the back, and various door types and configurations are available.

One of the best things about van trucks is their convenience and easy handling. Most van trucks can navigate traffic similarly to a car. They can also fit into most parking spaces, which makes a van truck much more convenient for making deliveries than a traditional semi truck and trailer combination. They tend to be more fuel efficient than larger trucks, but they also have the ability to carry less cargo than a traditional van trailer being pulled by a semi tractor.

Another great thing about van trucks is that there are many interior configurations available. Some have many windows, while others have no windows at all in the cargo area. Shelving in various configurations is available, as well as storage bins that are built into the storage area. Some vans have cargo straps and D-rings for securing the cargo included.
