West VA Trucking Association Launches New Truck Driver Job Portal

As has been noted here and elsewhere, even nationally, the trucking business is booming, and there are tons of jobs available for virtually any driver or driving related field. Even state organizations are starting programs to hire truckers, and here is just one of the many to look out for.

The West Virginia Trucking Association (WVTA)

The WVTA has just announced that they are setting up a dedicated website portal, that will come online, on October 1st. As stated by WVTA Executive Director Jan Vineyard, "There is a huge need. If you look at the statistics in the next two or three years, because of retirements and aging, the need even gets greater." She continues, "It doesn't have to be just a truck driver, but anything in the logistics area, so that's how big the need is. We're gearing up for this big loss of drivers,"

Needless to say, this is huge news. When an entire state trucking association gets on the bandwagon and goes looking for jobs, you know there is a very high need for people in the industry.

The Portal

The website is called www.truckingjobswv.com, and you'll have to wait until the 1st of the month to access it. But you may want to copy this website address down to make sure you don't miss out on the offerings from the WVTA. Log it into your phone or laptop right now, so you don't miss out.
