Enter to Win a Truck and Support Breast Cancer Awareness

Here at Trucker-to-Trucker, we believe that truck drivers are some of the most caring people on the road. Truck drivers have been known to support causes for kids, cancer research and other worthy causes. Performance Diesel Inc. is raising funds for breast cancer awareness by raffling off a rebuilt 2001 Peterbilt 379.

You can see this fantastic truck at the Great West Truck Show at the Great American Trucking Show at the Dallas Convention Center August 23-25 2012, The third annual PDI Customer Appreciation Dyno Event & Show 'N Shine in Saint George, Utah November 2-3, 2012 and in Louisville, Kentucky at the Mid America Trucking Show March 21-23. The truck will be given away at the show in Louisville, but you don't have to be there to win.

Tickets are $10 each or you can get three tickets for $25, seven tickets for $50 or 16 tickets for $100. The truck is worth about $80,000 and you can buy tickets by calling 800-511-1231 or clicking on the donate link on the event's website. You can buy more than $100 worth of tickets if you'd like, and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to fund cancer research.

The funds raised will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1993. Their mission is to provide funding for breast cancer research so that a cure for breast cancer as well as breast cancer prevention may be achieved during our lifetime. Breast cancer is the second deadliest cancer, and a woman's chances of having invasive breast cancer at some point in her lifetime are currently almost one in eight. Research funded by BCFR has helped save the lives of breast cancer patients and improved survivorship and quality of life for tens of thousands of people with breast cancer.

Many members of the trucking industry have joined together to make this fundraiser possible.
